Background
In early August 2023, I received an email from The Man Bag Co. to write a review on their stuff: The Man Bag Co. The City Sling V2. I was delighted and honored by such a request, and gladly accepted it. The stuff was delivered to me a few days after I replied to them.

The Man Bag Co. is a Singapore-based company that makes bags for men, and you can read about them here.
The Stuff
The Man Bag Co. The City Sling V2 is an all-black sling bag made with quality material, has many compartments, and is waterproof. Based on the information from their website, it comes with an array of features:
- The City Sling will fit a Nintendo Switch with Casing, Steam Deck with Casing, iPad Mini with Casing (or similar sized 10.4 inch tablets), T-Shirt, Water Bottle, Powerbank with ease.
- Made with 1000D Cordura® advanced fabrics. Durable, waterproof, tried & tested for over 50 years.
- Fidlock® Patented Stainless Steel V-Buckle Magnetic Clasp
- 7.2 litre capacity
- The Front & Back of The City Sling are padded to help absorb some of the impact in the event of a drop (to protect your electronics), and to also provide a more comfortable carry
- Waterproof dual zippers on exterior pockets. Coupled with the waterproof Cordura® fabric, you never have to worry about your items getting wet
- Adjustable bag strap up to 1 metre in length
- 2 interior pockets in front compartment
- 7 interior pockets in main compartment for you to organize your items (including 2 stretchy pockets!)
- 2x SIM/SD card slots in back pocket
- Soft fleece interior lining to protect your devices from scratches

The dimensions of this sling bag are as follows: 44cm wide (longest width), 20cm high, and 9.5cm base depth.

Usage and Experience
I have been using The Man Bag Co. The City Sling V2 for a few weeks since this post. I like that quality materials are being used, and there are many, many compartments for a sling bag. This includes a padded one for added protection for devices that I feel is important.
I am also amazed by how much stuff I can actually put in this sling bag! As such, here is the list of stuff that I have managed to fit in together:
This is like a stress test as the ShakeSphere tumbler and Xiaomi umbrella are big stuff to put into a sling bag of this size. It bulks up after putting all the stuff in, but I am still able to zip it successfully.
As it is waterproof as mentioned, I did a test by pouring a small amount of water onto the surface of the sling bag. True enough, the water did not sip through, and this gives me peace of mind that my stuff will not be wet if the sling bag comes into contact with rain.
This is the first time I come across the Fidlock® Patented Stainless Steel V-Buckle Magnetic Clasp. Unlike other buckles that need some aiming to slot in, the magnetic clasp makes it easy to catch, and it is also secure like any other buckle.

Final Thoughts
