Daiso Digital Camera Mesh Case Review

Background Back in 2015, while I was shopping at one of the Daiso stores in Singapore, I came across a digital camera mesh case that can store my Xiaomi Power Bank. Since I have nothing to protect my power bank, I decided to get one to try it out. Subsequently, I bought additional mesh cases as I have more than one power bank :) The Product The Daiso Digital Camera Mesh Case comes in 2 colors and 2 sizes, brown and blue, small and large. The dimension of the small size mesh case is slightly more than a dimension of a credit card. I wonder how it fits a digital camera. For the large one, I believe it fits a typical digital compact camera. Here are some pictures of the product that I have taken: The Daiso Digital Camera Mesh Case Comes in 2 colors The large size mesh case Comparing the small and large mesh case size The material inside the mesh case Usage and Experience I have been using the Daiso Digital Mesh Case till now. I did a check of how many mesh case I have, and realized that I

MUJI Pet Pump Bottle 100ml Review

Background Back in 2019, before I was going on my overseas travel in November, I was trying to minimize the items to bring along. One of the items was a pump bottle for my shower gel. A 100ml pump bottle that I can put into my carry on luggage (since we can't bring more than 100ml bottle for our carry on luggage). As such, whenever I am in a shopping mall, I will look around the shops to see if there is a suitable pump bottle to my liking. One day, I happen to went into the MUJI store at Plaza Singapura and saw the MUJI Pet Pump Bottle. The bottle looks and feels well built and it costs SGD 4.90, which I think it's a reasonable price for such a bottle. After some thought, I decided to purchase it. The Product The MUJI Pet Pump Bottle 100ml is made of solid plastic material, hence as mentioned it is well built. It is made in Japan. It comes with a cap to cover the pump so that it won't be accidentally pressed. I liked that it is a very simple, minimalist design. No fancy des

Daiso Half-Zip Cloth Wallet Review

Background Back in around November 2016, as I was about to go on an overseas trip, I feel that I needed to find a wallet for travel to separate overseas cash from my everyday wallet. I also do not want to have my everyday wallet stolen or go missing overseas. As such, I went to Daiso to see whether there is a cheap option for it. I did manage to find one that I like, which is a half-zip cloth wallet. The Product The Daiso Half-Zip Cloth Wallet that I got is a minimal and simple blue color wallet, just like my  Comme des Garcons sa3100 Half-Zip Wallet . The main difference between both is the material used, which is cloth compared to leather. Inside the wallet, there is a pocket in the middle where coins can be stored. Nothing special, just like most half-zip wallet around in the market. Here are some pictures of the product that I have taken: The Daiso Half-Zip Cloth Wallet Inside the half-zip wallet The thickness of the wallet with nothing inside Usage and Experience I have been using

Decathlon Btwin 500ml Tool Bottle Review

Background Back in my cycling days when I was riding my road bike, I was looking for ways to lighten my load by bringing less stuff around and not to attach a saddle bag during my ride. As such, I found that a tool bottle will be a great replacement for a saddle bag. Since there are 2 bottle cages on my road bike, and if I'm not riding long distances, I can just bring along 1 bottle of water. I can then put a tool bottle on the other bottle cage. One day I was walking around Decathlon and found the Btwin 500ml tool bottle in the bike section. As I find the price of the tool bottle to be affordable, I decided to purchase one. The Product The Decathlon Btwin 500ml Tool Bottle comes in black color, nothing fancy. Like a typical plastic water bottle, it comes with a screw-on cap to open or close the tool bottle, making it waterproof. Here are some pictures that I have taken of the product: The Decathlon Btwin 500ml Tool Bottle The other side of the tool bottle Top of the tool bottle Op

Daiso Nail Clipper with File Review

Background If I recall correctly, it was back in early 2016 when I was looking for a nail clipper that my nails will not fly around after cutting it. That will be a nail clipper that has a cover that covers the sides of the clipper. One day I was walking around Daiso and found one of their many designs that manage to fit the description of what I am looking for. Since it only cost SGD $2, I decided to purchase and give it a try. The Product The Daiso Nail Clipper with File that I purchased is no different from the typical nail clipper. The difference is that it comes with a black color detachable cover and the top handle has a file to smooth or shape the nails after cutting. Here are some pictures that I have taken on the product: The Daiso Nail Clipper with File Side view of the nail clipper Side view of the nail clipper when using it Top view showing the file on the handle The nail clipper with the cover detached Usage and Experience I have been using the Daiso Nail Clipper with File

Background Back in my cycling days, as I was making changes to my road bike, I came across the importance of having a torque wrench. Without a torque wrench, I may over-torque when I am tightening a part. Over-torque may result in damaging my bike parts. As such, I was on the lookout for an affordable torque wrench. I manage to find the Topeak COMBOTORQ Wrench and Bit Set while visiting a bike shop. As this was the most affordable torque wrench I could find during that time, I decided to purchase it and try it out. The Product The Topeak COMBOTORQ Wrench and Bit Set is a unique design torque wrench. Instead of a typical torque wrench design, this torque wrench is like a T-shape with a pizza size-like torque range display in the middle of the stem. The torque wrench comes with 4 Allen bits an

Beto 2-Stage Mini Pump with Gauge Review

Background Back in my cycling days, I had both foldable and road bikes to cycle. As such, both inner tubes use a different valve; Schrader and Presta. With this in mind, I decided to look for a portable hand pump that supports both valves and has a gauge for me to see the tire pressure. One day, I happened to visit a bike shop and found the Beto 2-Stage Mini Pump with Gauge. As this fits the requirements as to what I am looking for, I decided to purchase it from the bike shop. The Product The Beto 2-Stage Mini Pump with Gauge that I bought comes in black color. It measures about 20.5cm in length. It is actually not mini in terms of portability, but this pump is able to fit into my Lezyne XL Caddy Saddle Bag . At the bottom of the pump, there is a switch that allows you to pump in 2 different
