Background Back in the 1st quarter of 2020, I was looking for a MicroSD/SD card reader that is compact and uses both USB-A and USB-C. I went around to several Challenger shops to look for one, and finally found the one that I feel it's the best. It is the Valore USB-C/USB 3.0 Card Reader (VUH-33). As such, I decided to get it. The Product The Valore USB-C/USB 3.0 Card Reader has a flash drive-like design. It supports reading MicroSD and SD cards. It looks like it's made of aluminum and it feels solidly build. On one end is USB-A and the other end is USB-C. Each end has a plastic cap to cover and protect the USB head. Background Back in May 2018, I was looking for a travel adapter with USB ports that I can bring along while working or traveling. I search online and found the Mogics Power Bagel. The design of the travel adapter is interesting and as such, I made the purchase from WorldShop. The Product The Mogics Power Bagel is a Singapore designed power adapter. It is actually more of a travel power strip than a travel adapter. It comes in 2 colors, black or white. It can connect up to 5 power adapters plus 2 USB devices. As a power strip, the bagel's cable can be extended by another 90cm. As the Power Bagel is a US 2 pin plug, it comes together with a universal adapter in the middle called the MA1. Background Back in December 2017, I was looking at Xiaomi stuff online to get as Christmas presents. I chanced upon the Xiaomi Mijia Automatic Umbrella and found that it is a useful item to get not just as a Christmas present, but for myself to use as well. As such, I went on to purchase 3 of them, once for myself. Subsequently, I went on to purchase one more as a backup :) The Product The Xiaomi Mijia Automatic Umbrella comes only in black color. There is no fancy design, just a very simple, minimalistic solid black color. The packaging itself comes only with the umbrella and the cover. I feel that the umbrella is very well made. Background Back in my cycling days, I was obsessed with getting ways to reduce the weight of my ride. As such, I went online to find equipment that can weigh the bike and things that I carry along. The brandless luggage weighing scale was one of them, mainly to weigh my bike. The other was the SF-2012 Digital Kitchen Scale, to weigh things such as the Syncros HP Mirco Pump , the Topeak Mini 20 Pro , the extra inner tube that I bring along in case of a burst inner tube during the ride, and so on. Background Back in December 2017, I needed to replenish my Nespresso capsules as they were running out. It was just in time that Nespresso sent me a promotional email, stating that I can get the Touch Travel Mug for free while making an order. As such, I happily ordered my capsules and other stuff that I needed to get the free tumbler. The Product  The Nespresso Touch Travel Mug exterior design is like the body of Michelin Man, just that it is silver in color. With that, it makes the surface grippy which does not slip while holding onto it. The black color lid is screw-on based which does not allow water to leak out. The size of the tumbler is not very big, as the maximum capacity is 345ml / 11oz as stated on the bottom of the tumbler.
