Background
Back in November 2019, I was looking for a black, smaller, slimmer profile and minimalist wallet to replace my existing one which is big and bulky. The search online lead me to a few wallets which I shortlisted. Eventually, I decided on the Commes des Garcons sa3100 half-zip wallet which I bought from Farfetch.
The Stuff
The Commes des Garcons sa3100 half-zip wallet came in a week after I made the order. The dimension of the wallet measured about 11cm by 9.5cm with a depth of about 1.4cm. The wallet is made in Spain, and it is made of leather with a trusty YKK zipper and 3 compartments inside. It is very similar to most minimalist half-zip wallets. Usage
I have been using the Comme des Garcons sa3100 half-zip wallet for half a year now. In terms of quality, I feel the wallet is very well made. I am able to place coins in the middle compartment, with notes and cards at the side compartments. Since there are only 3 compartments, you will have to fold your notes in half and pack all your cards together. This may feel kind of a hassle when you want to take out notes or a particular card, as one will have to take some time to look through the cards to pick as compared to a typical bifold wallet with multiple card compartments. I don't have much of an issue with that as I am used to it over time.
The YKK zip on the wallet is smooth. While I'm out and about, I usually place my wallet on the side pocket of my pants or jeans during movement. The smaller and less bulky size makes it a better fit as compared to my previous wallet. I feel comfortable when sitting down with the wallet still inside the side pocket. As such I do not need to take out my wallet and place it on the table.

Conclusion
