Background

Back in Jun 2022, as I had just moved into my new home, I decided to get some slippers for myself and my guests. I do wear slippers at home as the floor can be dusty at times and ended up having dirty feet, especially on the balcony.

I head over to Decathlon to see what options are available. One of them was the Decathlon Nabaiji Men's Pool Sandals SLAP 100 BASIC Grey. As it was one of the cheapest options in the store I can find at that point in time, I decided to get it.

The Stuff

The Decathlon Nabaiji Men's Pool Sandals SLAP 100 BASIC Grey comes only in grey and in a range of sizes starting from UK 2.5 EU35 to UK 11 EU46. Based on the information on Decathlon's website, here are the product benefits of the stuff:
  • grip - Benefit from good grip on the floor, even when wet, thanks to the grooved soles.
  • water drainage - Sandals with perforated soles for improved water drainage.
  • drying time - Quick drying thanks to the component and perforated soles.
  • lightweight - Pool sandals with a one-piece structure that makes it light when carrying.
Here are some of the pictures that I have taken to show what the stuff looks like:

Usage and Experience

I have been using the Decathlon Nabaiji Men's Pool Sandals SLAP 100 BASIC Grey for months, almost going to a year since this post. I now wear it mostly when I am on the balcony.

The grooved soles make it grippy as described. I did not feel any slipperiness, especially when washing the balcony with water and floor cleaner.

Based on the material, it is best not to let it sit in the hot sun for too long as it may deform. As such, I do not leave it on the balcony.

In terms of comfort, I did not feel any pain throughout the time when I am wearing it.
