Background

Back in September 2022, I noticed the dish scrubber Cif Scrub Daddy while scrolling around the web for stuff. As I found the stuff interesting, I decided to purchase it to try it out.

The Stuff

As far as I know, the Cif Scrub Daddy comes in either yellow or green. Apparently, the green color version is called Essentials Scrub Daddy which is slimmer and cheaper compared to the yellow colored one. It is a scrubber with no sponge compared to a typical rectangular dish scrubber. It has a smiley face which makes it interesting.

The packaging states that it is a versatile household scrubber. It can be used in households, kitchens, outdoors, and bathroom furniture or appliances.

A feature that it has is its trademark FlexTexture Scrubber, which is soft in warm water and firm in cool water.

Here are some pictures that I have taken to show what the stuff looks like:

Usage and Experience

I have been using the Cif Scrub Daddy for about 3 weeks since this post. I can see why it is a versatile household scrubber. Compared to a typical rectangular dish scrubber, its smiley face definitely has its usefulness. To scrub a spoon, insert it into its mouth and scrub. Its hair can help to scrub the in-betweens of a fork, and the eyes as a grip to scrub deep locations like the bottom of a water bottle if the width and depth permit.

As I do not have hot water on my kitchen faucet/tap, I wasn't able to test the trademark FlexTexture.

One drawback I can think of is that the price is not on the cheap side for a dish scrubber.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I feel that the Cif Scrub Daddy is definitely a versatile household scrubber. I don't think I would want to go back into using the typical rectangular dish scrubber :)
