Background

Back in June 2021, I was looking for some stuff in my storeroom and I came across the RoseArt Magnetix Magnetic Building Set. Strangely, it was placed where the toothpaste was stored. Someone could have bought toothpaste and got this for free, and as such, I decided to take it and open it to see what it was.

The Stuff

The RoseArt Magnetix Magnetic Building Set looks like it has been there for years. The box looks old. It states that it is suitable for ages 3 to 100. It comes with a total of 20 pieces, whereby there are 8 balls and 12 rods. They all come in silver metallic color.

Here are some pictures that I have taken to show how the stuff looks like:

Usage and Experience

I have tried the RoseArt Magnetix Magnetic Building Set to see what shapes and designs I can come up with. 20 pieces are actually quite limited but good enough to build small triangles and squares.

I think it is great for children as they can come up with design ideas and unleash their creativity.

As the balls and rods are small in size, there will be a concern as small children might accidentally swallow them. Although it says suitable for ages 3 onwards, I'm not too sure if I will let a 3-year-old play this.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I feel that the RoseArt Magnetix Magnetic Building Set is interesting stuff for the creative mind. As I found out online that RoseArt has become Cra-Z-Art, the magnetic building set is now named as Cra-Z-Art Magtastix Balls & Rods Building Kit, with a longer rod and recommended for ages 6+.
