Background

Back in early September 2021, the sole of one side of my shoe that I wear to work regularly has already open up. I had only wear it for close to 6 months.

As such, I decided to find a pair of shoes that is easy to wear to work and for other occasions. That is where I went on to look for a slip-on shoe. I look around online and found the Old Navy Mixed-Fabric Slip-ons on Zalora.

As it's priced affordably, I decided to purchase it.

The Stuff

The Old Navy Mixed-Fabric Slip-ons come in two colors: New Cognac and Light Grey. Mine is New Cognac as I prefer a brown color looking shoe.

Based on the Old Navy website, here are some details of the shoe:

- Mixed-material upper.

- Webbed-elastic side goring.

- Cushioned insoles made with memory foam. Like walking on fluffy little clouds.

- Water & stain-repellent fabric. Take that, rain and dirt.

- Contrasting rubber midsole and flocked outsole.

- Easy slip-on style.

Here are some pictures that I have taken to show how the stuff looks like:

Usage and Experience

I have been wearing the Old Navy Mixed-Fabric Slip-ons for some time, mostly wearing them with socks. As like most new shoes, the first few times was about getting the feet used to it. There were some slight abrasions that I felt on both of my little toes, and tightness on the shoe's tongue area while starting out. The feet and shoe will eventually get used to each other over time and all will be well. Time will tell :)

Final Thoughts

Overall, I feel that the Old Navy Mixed-Fabric Slip-ons is an affordable and stylish pair of shoes, just that it needs time for the feet to get used to it. If you are interested in this stuff, you can click on the link below:
