Background

In December 2023, while I was at Toys "R" Us looking at toys for Christmas presents, I noticed a special UNO edition being displayed: The UNO Platinum Edition Card Game. Since I do not have UNO at home, I decided to purchase it.

The Stuff

The UNO Platinum Edition Card Game is the same in terms of cards and gameplay as the normal UNO edition. The difference comes from the packaging, card quality, and design. Based on the information from Walmart, it is considered a premium-quality deck of UNO cards, as the cards are made with a 300g linen finish and feature a holographic foil logo on the back. This gives them a heavier weight and nicer finish.

Here are some pictures that I have taken to show what the stuff looks like:

Experience and Usage

I have been having the UNO Platinum Edition Card Game for more than a week since this post. I like the holographic foil on the back of the cards.

I have played with it once, and compared to the original cards, it does feel premium and the quality feels good.
