Background

In September 2023, while walking around NTUC FairPrice after my lunch, I spotted something that caught my interest: the Amark Vita Bladeless Neck Fan. As it was on sale which cost about 8 SGD, I decided to purchase one to try it out.

The Stuff

The Amark Vita Bladeless Neck Fan, like any other neck fan that has been in the market for some time, comes in a headphone-like design. It uses micro-USB for charging and has a flexible neckband for a comfortable fit.

Based on the instructions paper in the box, here is the product parameter list:

Product Materials: Environmentally Friendly ABS+Silicone
Product Size: 211*165*61mm
Functional Gear: 3 Gears
Current Voltage: 500mAh/1A
Rated Power: 4W
Executive Standards: GB4706.1-2005 GB4706.27-2008

Here are some pictures that I have taken to show what the stuff looks like:

Usage and Experience

I have been using the Amark Vita Bladeless Neck Fan for more than a week since this post. I was initially skeptical before getting this neck fan, as there is a lot out there in the market, and online reviews that I saw do not look promising.

After using it, this neck fan does have wind coming out of it, which works just like a normal fan. One cannot expect it to be air con cooling. As there are three speeds low, medium, and high, I use the low speed most of the time as it is good enough, unless I am feeling very hot.

The battery life for this neck fan I feel is short. It seems like even with low speed it just lasted a few hours before it goes flat and it needs to be charged. But for the price I paid, I cannot expect it to last so long.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I feel that the Amark Vita Bladeless Neck Fan is something that works, but cannot expect it to work wonders. If you are interested in this stuff, you can visit any NTUC FairPrice outlet to try your luck.
