Background

Back in 2014 if I can remember correctly, I was walking around Daiso looking for some gift ideas. I stumbled across the Daisy Folding Fan (Sensu), and I feel that it can be a gift for someone or it could be a prize for some event that I plan to do since it is only 2 SGD. As such, I decided to get a few of these and one for myself.

The Stuff

The Diaso Folding Fan (Sensu) is a traditional Chinese folding fan. Its material is of cloth and wood. It weighs about 21 grams and there were many designs to choose from.

Usage and Experience

I have had the Daiso Folding Fan (Sensu) for years. I used it most of the time when I was playing badminton, cooling myself after a game while waiting for my turn. 

It is definitely useful stuff to bring along when the weather is hot. Compared to a portable electric fan, it uses human energy so one does not need to fear having no battery when a fan is needed :)

Final Thoughts

Overall, I feel that the Daiso Folding Fan (Sensu) is cheap and affordable stuff to cool yourself in hot weather. If you are interested in this stuff, you can try your luck at any Daiso store.
