Background
Back in 2019 I was looking at some Xiaomi products and came across the Xiaomi Mijia 0.5mm sign pen. After reading and watching some reviews online I decided to get one from Xiaomi physical stall to try.
The Stuff
The Xiaomi Mijia 0.5mm sign pen is white in color, and it comes with black ink. To use the pen all you need to do is to turn the top of the pen clockwise to unveil the pen tip. Turn the top of the pen anti-clockwise to hide the pen tip. If you run out of ink, you can purchase the pen refill which comes in a 3 pcs pack.

Usage
I bought the Xiaomi Mijia 0.5mm sign pen more than a year ago, and I have yet to replace the pen ink. If you run out of ink and want to replace the ink, all you need to do is to strip the pen and replace the pen ink part. I didn't write a lot as most of the time I was able to record notes on my phone instead of writing it down :). Luckily the ink did not dry up and I was able to use it again. For those times that I use it to write, the feel is smooth. Most of the time the ink flow is smooth, except for some while writing the ink did not come out, and I have to change the tip angle to get it going again.
The clip of the pen feels solid. I don't think it will break easily compared to those plasticky ones, which the clip can come off if you accidentally bend it too much.

Conclusion
Overall, I feel that the Xiaomi Mijia 0.5mm sign pen is a solid build pen, but the ink flow may not be totally consistent while writing. If you are interested, you can purchase it online from AliExpress. There are many sellers but here's one that I found that you can buy with the refills, and ships free to Singapore and the US (do take note it may take one month or more to reach).
